Hello! I’m Kasey, a strong all-rounder graphic designer/creative artworker/finished artist.
My advertising career began when I moved to London where I started freelancing for a broad spectrum of advertising, healthcare and property marketing companies as a creative artworker. I produced finished art, making adaptations, adhering to the client’s corporate branding whilst maintaining optimal design practises. I gained global brand experience on clients such as Pizza Hut, Barclays, Dyson, Sainsbury’s, O2, Renault, Clarks, Mercedes-Benz, P&O, All Bar One, Cadbury, Valentino and Skoda.
After two years, I packed my bags and arrived at DraftFCB Melbourne. In my time there, I worked on high profile advertising campaigns and blue-chip retail clients, working alongside creatives from scamps through to getting artwork print-ready. Major work including branding, press ads, brochures, posters, direct mail, signage, flyers, banners, retail catalogues and POS. I’ve worked across clients such as Honda, Kraft, Angus & Robertson, Vitasoy, Nivea, Stroke Foundation, Lindt and JR/Duty Free.
When DRAFTFCB closed its doors, I began freelancing again, working over six years at many of Melbourne’s advertising agencies and boutique design studios such as JWT, Collier Creative, Blackmagic Design, Town Square, Big Red, Leap Agency, CHE Proximity, McCann, V.I., among others. Major work including brochures, catalogues, promotional material, press ads, signage, manuals, direct mail, EDM’s above and below-the-line. Project clients include Ford, Specsavers, Telstra, Optus, Foxtel, Chemmart, Harris Scarfe, Nissan, APT, Holden, among others.
After relocating to Sri Lanka, I now work remotely for some of Melbourne’s design studios. With over ten years of experience, I’ve worked across most categories, from blue-chip to SMEs. Professional, quick, extremely versatile and a motivated team player. I’m highly confident working from scamps through to getting artwork print-ready. Motivated, passionate, efficient and have a good understanding of all print production processes and formats. Plus strong experience across annual reports and manuals, involving design, long text and financial layout including charts and graphs. I have produced award-winning work for some of Australia’s and the UK’s largest advertisers, across FMCG, travel and tourism, branding, retail, B2B and automotive sectors.
Although originally with a background in print, over the last decade, I’ve been involved an increasing amount of online work, from email campaigns to designing WordPress sites and social media content.
